Where do poeple get off on contributing everything in the universe to the actions of god. This is so clearly not the case as even god cannot defy the laws of physics, which is what he'd have to do in order to control everything. Also how can people so whole heartedly believe in something that has no hard evidence of ever existing. I will admit that there probably was some sort of supreme creator in the beginning, but seeing as how it created the laws of the universe it to would be bound by those rules and would have no control over the outcome of everything. And how is it that over the course of history every society has had a different god, are we to believe that each was created idividually by different gods, and why do we assume ours is right and there's wrong. What gives us the oddassity to believe that our religion, a much younger religion than most, is correct and everyone else's worng. I mean the way I look at it if I believe in the judaio-christian god the muslim god will send me to hell, but if i do visa-versa, the christian god will send me to hell, so I go with the sure bet of Aethiesm/ Budhism with no god. I mean we as americans are just a fanatical as Muslims and who has any evidence of who is right or if either are right, where do people get such blind faith, they certainly never use that much faith in anything else in their life. recent world census numbers put 26% of the world as being aetheist making it the most popular "religion" in the world. Call me blind but with no actual scientific proof of god how can he possibly exist.

Why do people hate to let go of the past? Why do they always say I remember when and so on. Or why do they hold a grudge for 30 years over a little incident. This is something thats perplexed and angered me for sometime now. If something goes wrong you have to let it go and move on and accept that theres nothing you can do. One of the fundamental truths of budhism is that there will always be suffering in the world; so take it all with a grain of salt and move on. The past is only for remembering, those who chose to live there will never get anywhere. This also goes for good things, if you always are looking back on all the good times, those will end being the only good times you'll ever have because the way you remeber them is always better than the way they actually were. So people, let stuff go and start living in the present.

Before I start lets get one fact straight, people don't help other people, they only serve themselves and if by strange coincidence it helps others well thats just a bonus. You may say well what about people who commit there whole lives to charitiable acts, well its simple they do it to make themselves feel good. If you have ever done any charity work in your life ask yourself, and be truthful, did u get you joy from seeing others' suffering allieviated or from your selfish pride that you were the cause of it? I think we all know the real answer.

So that brings us to the questin of why we bother with human relationships. Its simply because we are all hopelessly alone in the world and are despretely trying to latch on to anything that gives us the illusion otherwise. We are all unique, we all have different strands of DNA, and we all think differently. No one is exactly like anyone. And in the end we all die alone. Now I know those are sad truths of life and we dont like to admit them and thats precissely why we wanna have friends belong to a group, find that special someone; were all trying to convince ourselves that we do have a place in the world and that we can contribute something. Well cold hard fact is there is no "world" as we know it, we all have our own world and were all alone of them. So I say why bother wasting all your ime and energy trying to be accepted when in reality your only putting wallpaper over an empty void. I told a friend this and she said that it was thoughts like this that were the cause of suicides. I laughed at how utterly wrong and naive she was explained that people dont comit suicide because of this they do it because there illusion of ther world where they fit in and belong and aren't alone suddenly collapses and they are sent into quite a trauma over it, but know if you gradually come to terms with this reality and learn to accept it its actually much easier and more fulfilling that living with an illusion. Now theres nothing wrong with illusion every now and then, its normal but if you become so wrapped up in one illusion your only setting yourself up for disaster. To close I'm reminded of a good quote from a bad movie from the 70s "Beyond the valley of the dolls" I think is what it was called, anyways the quote was that life has an infinite amount of levels but if you chose only to inhabit a few you'll lose touch of reality, and with it life itself. I know this kinda got of subject and never really answered the subject but thats how my rants are.
